WELCOME MESSAGE

On behalf of the Mexican Academy of Dermatology, the Mexican Society of Dermatology and the Mexican Society of Dermatologic Surgery & Oncology, member societies of the International League of Dermatological Societies (ILDS), we are proud to announce our bid to host the WCD 2023 in Guadalajara.

Experienced in hosting distinguished visitors and events, Guadalajara has positioned itself as the preferred city in Mexico for international congresses and one of the best meetings destinations in Latin America. Its ease of direct flight access from major cities across the globe and its state-of-the-art venue, Expo Guadalajara, combined with the city’s spectacular scenery, rich culture, unique cuisine and genuine hospitality, will certainly be a draw to delegates and their families.

For those of us who represent the ILDS community in Mexico, it will be a great honor to welcome you in our country. Our bid committee, a joint effort of all three Mexican member societies, is representative of the whole country and we all share two passions: our strong commitment to the specialty of dermatology and our great enthusiasm to deliver a WCD that even surpasses the outcome of so many past successful conferences held over more than one century.

We look forward to welcoming you in Guadalajara!
